As a fractional program manager, I work alongside your team to develop, align, and deliver mission-critical programs without the overhead of a full-time hire.

Tim Baran

I love developing programs and building and nurturing teams that take on the hard problems and make people’s lives better.

For a long time, I wished I were like those visionaries who innovate brilliant new tech solutions, raise massive funding, and scale fast. The world needs them. The justice sector needs them. Keep innovating. Keep building. And while I deeply admire them, that’s not me.

I want to help people who help people. I want to help them feel seen and heard and appreciated and affirmed and empowered. My background and education are in organizational leadership and development, and that’s where I’ve found my calling - building programs, guiding teams, and coaching and mentoring those who make the work possible.

That clarity came into focus after years leading legal research and continuing education at a law firm, directing marketing for law firms and legal tech, and leading programs at a national nonprofit. It followed me to Rwanda, on a leadership exchange program focused on youth empowerment, where the experience inspired me to step out of a senior leadership role and start a consultancy dedicated to strengthening organizations and programs and empowering their leaders and teams; the people behind the mission.
